The Best Place to Lease a Car in Bucks County: How to Choose

There's no single best dealership. There's a best way to compare your options, and it takes about ten minutes once you know what to ask.

Short answer: the best place to lease a car in Bucks County is the one that gives you the lowest total cost for the exact car, term and miles you want, in writing, before you sign. You find it by getting at least two quotes on identical terms. Here's how to do that without spending a Saturday on Route 1.

Your three options

  • A franchise dealer. Bucks County has dealers along Route 1, Street Road and Route 611. A dealer can only lease the brands it sells, usually from its own lot, and its numbers are built around that one store.
  • An online leasing service. Some services quote leases from out of the area. Check who actually writes the lease, which state the car is registered in, and whether delivery and registration are included.
  • A local lease broker. A broker compares programs and dealers for you, then hands you one written offer. A good one shows the payment and the total due at signing upfront and tells you how they get paid.

Any of these can be the right answer. What matters is comparing them the same way.

Compare every quote on five numbers

  1. The exact car and trim. An LX and an EX of the same model aren't the same quote.
  2. Term in months. 24, 36 and 39 months all price differently.
  3. Miles per year. Match what you really drive. Upper Bucks and long commutes usually need more than lower Bucks.
  4. Monthly payment with tax. Ask for it with Pennsylvania tax included so the numbers line up.
  5. Total due at signing. First payment, fees, title and registration, all in. A low payment with a large amount due at signing can cost more overall.

Then do the simple math: payment times the number of months, plus what's due at signing. The lower total wins, as long as the car and terms match.

Questions to ask before you sign

  • Is this the final monthly payment with tax, and the final amount due at signing?
  • Which lender writes the lease, and does my credit tier match the quote?
  • Are any loyalty or conquest programs applied, and do I qualify for them?
  • Who handles Pennsylvania title and registration, and is it included?
  • If I'm turning in a lease, who returns the old car, and what will I owe at turn-in?

If you live near the New Jersey line

Drivers in Morrisville, Yardley, Bristol and Levittown are often closer to a New Jersey dealer than a Pennsylvania one. You can usually lease there, but the lease is written for your Pennsylvania address, so check that the quote shows Pennsylvania taxes and that the dealer will register the car in Pennsylvania. I compare dealers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware and handle that paperwork for you.

What is the best place to lease a car in Bucks County?

Compare a franchise dealer's quote with a local lease broker's quote on the same terms. Arthur Lease Deals in Huntingdon Valley shops multiple dealers for Bucks County drivers, charges no broker fee and delivers free anywhere in the county.

Is it better to lease from a dealer or a broker in Bucks County?

A dealer can only offer the brands and cars it sells. A broker compares several dealers and brands for the same car. Get one quote from each on identical terms and pick the lower total cost.

Can I lease from a New Jersey dealer if I live in Bucks County?

Often, yes. Many Bucks County drivers are close to New Jersey dealers. The lease is written for your Pennsylvania address, so make sure the quote shows Pennsylvania taxes and that the dealer handles Pennsylvania title and registration.

What should I bring to compare lease quotes?

The car and trim, the term, miles per year, monthly payment with tax, and the total due at signing for each quote. If any of those differ, the quotes aren't comparable yet.
