How Our Lease Numbers Work

Where every payment on this site comes from, what each special shows, what we never post, and how we keep it current.

Every special starts with a real worksheet

I don’t make up payments or copy them from ads. Each special on this site is worked up on an actual lease worksheet from a dealer I work with, using a lease program that dealer can write that month, from the manufacturer’s finance company or another lender. The special is posted exactly as the worksheet shows. If I can’t back a number with a worksheet, it doesn’t go on the site.

What every special shows

  • Monthly payment, shown before sales tax
  • Term in months
  • Miles per year included before excess-mileage charges
  • Total due at signing, all in: the first payment, fees, title and registration. Nothing is added on top of it.
  • End date for the offer
  • Fine print: the credit tier required, the lender where it matters, and whether there’s a security deposit

$0 down available — your exact signing amount is in your quote.

What we never post, and why

  • No MSRP. What you pay each month and at signing is what matters, so that’s what we show.
  • No fee breakdowns, money factors or residuals. Those change with your credit tier, the lender and the month’s program. On their own they make deals harder to compare, not easier.
  • Incentives by name only. A special may use a program like loyalty or conquest. We name it so you know to ask, because whether you qualify depends on you.

Sales tax

Specials on the site are the monthly payment plus sales tax, because tax depends on where you live: about 9% on each payment in most of Pennsylvania, about 11% in Philadelphia, New Jersey’s sales tax charged upfront, and no sales tax in Delaware. When I send you a personal quote, the payment includes sales tax, so you see the exact amount you’ll pay each month.

How the specials stay current

  • New specials are loaded when the month’s programs come out, usually early in the month.
  • The site rebuilds every morning and removes any offer past its end date automatically.
  • Each car page with a special shows the date that special was last updated, and this month’s best lease deals lists every live offer with its end date.

Who checks the numbers

I’m Arthur Geller. I spent more than ten years inside dealerships in sales, as an F&I manager and as a sales and general manager before starting Arthur Lease Deals. I review every special before it posts.

Your quote is one-to-one

The specials are a starting point. For your quote, I shop multiple dealers in PA, NJ and DE for the car you want and send you the monthly payment with sales tax included, the total due at signing, the term and the miles. There’s no broker fee. Not sure about a quote you already have? Send it to me and I’ll tell you if it’s a good deal.

Offers are for well-qualified lessees and can change or end without notice.

FAQ

Our numbers, answered.

Don’t see yours? Call +1 (267) 216-6659 — we’re happy to walk through your situation.

Where do the lease specials on your site come from?

Each special comes from a real lease worksheet from a dealer Arthur works with, using a lease program that dealer can write that month. It’s posted exactly as the worksheet shows.

Do your lease payments include sales tax?

The specials on the site are shown as the monthly payment plus sales tax. A personal quote from Arthur shows the payment with sales tax included.

Why don’t you show MSRP or a fee breakdown?

The payment and the total due at signing are the numbers you can compare from one deal to the next. Single lines like fees, money factor or incentive amounts change with credit tier, lender and eligibility, so on their own they can mislead.

How do I know a special is still current?

Every special shows its end date, the site rebuilds every morning and removes offers past their end date, and each car page shows the date its special was last updated.
